# Inventory lots

> List capacity on your route, get it reviewed, and quote buyers from it.

An inventory lot is a block of capacity on one of your routes that you're prepared to sell. Buyers see active lots on the [market](https://cairva.xyz/market), and every quote you issue is drawn from a lot.

## Create a lot

Open **Inventory** in the workspace. Only verified suppliers can create lots, and only on their own routes.

| Field | Notes |
| --- | --- |
| Route | One of your routes. It fixes the model and region |
| Title | 3 to 120 characters |
| Capacity class | Metered allowance, reserved throughput or dedicated window. Sandbox routes allow metered allowance only. See [Capacity classes](https://cairva.xyz/docs/capacity-classes) |
| Availability | `available_now` or `quote_only` |
| Window | Start and end of the capacity you're offering |
| Input and output tokens | The total you're offering in the window |
| Minimum input tokens | The smallest order you'll take, 0 for none |
| Requests / min, tokens / min, max concurrency | The most any single agreement on this lot can get |
| Public pricing | Optional. When on, set both indicative input and output prices per 1M tokens |
| Permission reference | Optional pointer to your authorization to sell this capacity |

## Review

A new lot starts in `pending_review`. Cairva operations review it and set it to `active`, `paused` or back to `draft` with a note. Only lots from verified suppliers can go active.

Editing a lot that isn't a draft sends it back to `pending_review`. You can't lower its tokens below what agreements have already reserved.

## Lot states

| State | Meaning | You can move it to |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `draft` | Not submitted | `pending_review`, `retired` |
| `pending_review` | Waiting for operations | `retired` |
| `active` | Listed and quotable | `paused`, `retired` |
| `paused` | Not quotable | `pending_review`, `retired` |
| `retired` | Closed for good | |

## What buyers see

The market lists lots that are `active`, from verified suppliers, on enabled routes, with a window that hasn't ended. Buyers can request terms on a lot, which sends a request to you.

## Quoting from a lot

When you issue a quote, the terms have to fit the lot: same model and class, a window inside the lot's, limits at or under the lot's, the route's region, and enough unreserved tokens. Sandbox lots settle as no-charge and live lots by external invoice. See [Requests and quotes](https://cairva.xyz/docs/requests-and-quotes#how-a-quote-is-built).

When a buyer accepts, the contracted tokens are reserved on the lot so they can't be sold twice. Cancelling the agreement before activation releases them.
